By booking a session, program, or service with Checkmate Sports Group ("CSG"), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If the participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree on their behalf.
CSG provides basketball training, chess instruction, and combined performance training designed to improve athletic ability, decision-making, and mental focus.
All participants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. The parent/guardian is responsible for providing accurate information during booking, including emergency contact details.
Participation in sports training involves physical activity and inherent risks, including but not limited to injury. By participating in CSG programs, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You agree that Checkmate Sports Group and its staff will not be held liable for injuries, damages, or losses sustained during training sessions, except where required by law.
Participants (or their guardians) must disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to training. In the event of an emergency, CSG staff may take appropriate action, including contacting emergency services, using the information provided during registration.
All session bookings are subject to review and approval. • Bookings are initially marked as "Pending Approval" • Confirmation will be sent once the session is approved • CSG reserves the right to reschedule or decline requests based on availability or other factors
Payment terms will be provided at the time of booking. • Sessions may require advance payment or deposit • Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of session or fees • Rescheduling is subject to availability • Once the athlete has already received the scheduled workout, a cash refund is not authorized • When applicable, CSG may issue account credit for a future eligible lesson instead of a cash refund
All participants are expected to behave respectfully toward coaches and other participants. CSG reserves the right to remove any participant for disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior without refund.
CSG may capture photos or videos during sessions for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant permission for this content to be used unless you submit a written request to opt out.
Personal information collected (including student, parent, and emergency contact details) is used solely for scheduling, communication, and safety purposes. CSG does not sell or share personal data with third parties.
By checking the optional SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Checkmate Sports Group regarding bookings, appointment reminders, schedule changes, training availability, programs, payments, and customer support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
CSG reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of any changes.
